Does anyone know how i would install a battery into my dell inspiron 2200 notebook?

My original battery died so i just bought another but i have no idea how to connect it. please help

Turn the laptop upside down. The battery is at the forward side of the computer. It has a little latch right next to it, that you can move sideways with your thumb. This should release the battery. Then just make sure that you line up the new one correctly, and it should slip right into place. Then lightly push down so that the same latch secures it.
