What kind of motherboard and power supply does a Compaq Presario SR1920NX Desktop Computer Need?

I have been having problems and a comp tech recommend a new power supply and mother and i need to know ones compatible thanks

PSU are pretty standard there are one’s that are a little longer which might have trouble fitting in the case but other than that they all should work.

can I replace Dell laptop adapter/charger & cord?

Can I replace a 70w output with a 90w output adapter/charger & power cord? Would this overload my laptop?
Need answer really fast!!! Thanks so much!

just that your laptop takes what it needs
meaning your adaptor is underloaded
NOT laptop overloaded

use a 9000 watt one if you can & it’s equally safe on your laptop

the bigger adaptor is no use in a laptop, as far as catering to extra’s and peripherals, cause these are pretty much not upgradeable in case of laptops
the only effect it would have is, batteries get charged quicker

How do I make my laptop power meter reasonably accurately show how much power my battery has left?

When my battery is fully charged on my laptop (Win XP) the battery meter showed nearly 6 hours of life left. Usually I get somewhere around 2.5 hours of use. I’m wondering if there is a way to sync up the battery meter with the actual battery power left. Like measure the amount of time it takes to run it down or something and have the meter recognize that… I dunno. Help!

Charging the laptop fully and then letting it drain almost completely every so often will serve to calibrate the chip in your battery. However the meter itself can still only give you a very rough estimate, as the amount of power your laptop draws fluctuates over time (for instance it’ll draw considerably more while the processor is at full load, or whenever the hard drive spins up).
